The TOPdesk web interface integrates TOPdesk with
your existing intranet or it can run as a stand
alone web server. The layout of the TOPdesk web

to TOPdesk Professional and TOPdesk lite. The

Public and Secure Section

The public section of the TOPdesk web interface
offers your callers limited access to the
information in your TOPdesk database. In TOPdesk you
can specify which callers should be given access. It
is also possible to determine which fields of the
Incident card the caller can see in their overview.

The secure section of the TOPdesk web interface
offers more extensive options than the public
section and is especially meant for TOPdesk
operators. The TOPdesk web interface uses the
Authorisation levels of TOPdesk. Certain operators
can be restricted in their use of TOPdesk.
The Architecture of TOPspin

The TOPdesk web interface is built on the TOPdesk
ApplicationServer and TOPspin. The TOPdesk
ApplicationServer is based on a 3-tier architecture
of the TOPspin. This technology separates the
database from the functionality and the
functionality from the user interface. TOPspin is
the foundation on which TOPdesk and other
organisations can build highly evolved technical
applications quickly and easily. The TOPdesk web
