The Lounge Lizard is a software electric piano based on the
rnrnclassic instruments of the 70O(Rhodes, Wurlitzer). Eachrn
rncomponent of these instruments has been modeled with AAScuttingrn
rnedge physical modeling technology to provide realistic andrn
rnlively sounds.Physical modeling uses the laws of physics torn
rnreproduce the behavior of an object. In other words, the Loungern
rnLizard solves, in real time, mathematical equations describingrn
rnhow its different components function. No sampling or wavetablesrn
rnare used in the Lounge Lizard, the sound is simply calculated inrn
rnreal time by the CPU according to the values each parameter isrn
rnreceiving. The Lounge Lizard is more than a simple recreation ofrn
rnvintage instruments, its parameters can be tweaked to extremern
rnvalues not possible with the real instruments to get some trulyrn
rnamazing new sounds that still retain a warm acoustic quality.rn
